According to the Baltimore Convention and Visitors Bureau the city is home to 15 distinct neighborhoods .  Each of them has its own history and character and something different for visitors to enjoy.  One of the most popular for tourists is Fells Point, a waterfront community rich in history.  Fells Point is home to many of the city's entertainment venues, several restaurants and pubs, and has a colorful bohemian population. 

Inner Harbor: This is the city's original trade port which was refurbished in the 1980's. The Inner Harbor today is known nationally for its success in rejuvinating a once thriving area. The Inner Harbor is home to shops, museums, restaurants, and hotels. Attractions at the Inner Harbor include the Maryland Science Center, the National Aquarium, USS Constellation Museum, The Baltimore Convention Center, M&T Bank Stadium, Oriole Park at Camden Yards, World Trade Center Baltimore and the Baltimore Maritime Museum. For shopping and nighlife there is the Gallery at Harbor Place, the Light Street Pavillion, the Pratt Street Pavillion and Power Plant Live which is a collections of restaurants, bars, clubs,  ESPAN Zone Baltimore and a Barnes & Noble all in a renovated historic factory. The Inner Harbor is surrounded by numerous hotels including the Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards, Marriott Baltimore Waterfront, Renaissance Harborplace Hotel, Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel, Brookshire Inn & Suites, Hyatt Regency Baltimore, Pier 5 Hotel, Intercontinental Harbor Court Baltimore, Wyndham Baltimore Inner Harbor, Days Inn Inner Harbor and the Holiday Inn Baltimore Inner Harbor.
