"I can see for miles and miles...I can see for miles and miles and miles..." sang The Who in 1967; and when you find yourself in Boston, here are a few tips on where you can get yourself a similar vantage point.

Smack dab in the throbbing heart of Boston, you can get yourself 50 floors closer to the stars at the Prudential Center's Skywalk Observatory. A 360 degree view of Boston and it's surrounding area. A fine venue for that first kiss, marriage proposal, or fear of heights therapy session.

For a step just outside of the city, pay a visit to Menotomy Rocks Park in Arlington. Settled high atop the largest hill in Arlington, you can gaze over the Boston horizon while relaxing on a park bench or swinging away on the swings. As a side note, this location is probably the Boston area's finest untapped winter sledding venue.

If you're in need of an environment supportive of reflection or peace of mind, the Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge may suit well. Walk through pathways and trails that will lead you around beautiful ponds, trees and the occasional scurry of wildlife, then ascend the tower situated in the center of the grounds. The view is breathtaking and is helpful in providing a bit of perspective when needed.
