"Old City Park" is now known as "Dallas Heritage Village at Old City Park." To better help the visiting public know who the museum is and what it does, the name of the accredited, award-winning museum located at Old City Park in Dallas, Texas, was changed to "Dallas Heritage Village" in November of 2005. Dallas Heritage Village at Old City Park remains an outstanding venue for Dallas and Texas history: 38 restored, historic structures (bank, schoolhouse, homes, Main Street, farmstead etc.) located on 13 acres in the historic Cedars neighborhood on the edge of downtown Dallas. Operates seasonally; best to call ahead for operating hours. Current options include self-guided, self-paced touring or, for groups of ten or more, tours with a docent with advance reservations. Box lunches for groups available with advance reservations. Onsite museum store. Free parking. ADA-compliant.
