Besides theatrical performances and musical concerts (see The Performing Arts), Hilton Head has several clubs in which island visitors can pleasantly while away the evening. The majority of them are in either Park Plaza or “Barmuda Triangle,” which are both located near the center of town and are within walking distance of each other. Montego Bay is a good place to start, though it does cater to the 35-plus crowd. Younger patrons may prefer the more laid-back Hypnotyk (for guests over 18) or Monkey Business, the latter being a favorite haunt of teens that serves no alcohol.
Gentlemen who are so inclined might consider Club Paradise or Three Diamond Club, the two topless bars in Hilton Head.
Another safe bet for an evening out is one of the numerous restaurants and bars on the island. Many of them do not have set closing hours, but remain open until the last customers trickle away. The Metropolitan Lounge is a fairly classy establishment that serves more than eighty types of wine by the glass and also has a martini bar. Red Fish also carries an extensive wine selection that is available for retail price plus a corkage fee. More casual hangouts include Frankie Bones, an Italian restaurant popular with the locals, and Tavern on the Park, which has live entertainment every Monday and Friday night.
