Emeril's restaurant in Vegas is flashy-vegas in design and nothing like you would expect from a restaurant that has "New Orleans" in its title. ♣ The food is good but pricey; expect to pay about $340+ for a family of four. If you're staying in the MGM (which is where the restaurant located) call the concierge to get a reservation if you want to dine at a peak time.
One tip to remember, the service depends on which side of the restaurant you sit on. When you enter the restaurant, the bar will be the middle. To be serviced by experienced and happy persons, sit in the section to the right of the bar. If you sit on the left side, be prepared to practice some ...ALOT... of patience; the rookies appear to be in training on that side.
Another tip is to watch out for a 'scamster' lady who preys on tourists. She comes around to happy couples / families and offers to take pictures for $20. You're thinking that's sounds ok for your budget...so sure why not? SAY NO TO HER! Pictures are taken with an old camera and the lady comes back close to the end of the meal and hands you the pictures along with the bill. The bill will be $120 not $20! And, the pictures come out looking like they're from the 80's ... advise just taking your own pictures with your own camera.
