To make the most and try every place in and around Incline Village, your best bet is to drive a car. Buses are not realiable and everything is far away. Unless you decide to create a routine with a fixed itinerary between your hotel and the ski resort, it is highly recommended that you have a vehicle. If this goes true for the winter, even more for the summer as the opportunities for enjoyment multiply and, unfortunately, they are far one from the other.

A four wheel drive vehicle will give you a lot of freedom as you'll be able to get to places that a regular vehicle wouldn't. Go for the hidden place. A nice trip is to drive around Lake Tahoe from Incline Village west to Tahoe City, Tahoma, South Lake Tahoe, Lake Tahoe State Park and Glenbrook.
