Palm Springs has a wealth of modernist architecture including homes by Stewart Williams, Albert Frey and Richard Neutra. Whilst there are several glossy coffee table books on Palm Springs homes, such as Palm Springs Weekend and Palm Springs Modern, there is also a map giving a self-drive tour of the most notable buildings in the city produced by the Palm Springs Modern Committee ( www.psmodcom.com) which is available from the tourist office and the bookstore on Palm Canyon.
