The weather in Sinai and the Red Sea region is hot, but it is not nearly as hot as travelers might expect when they imagining the desert landscape surrounding the area.  In fact, during the winter months, the evenings in the area can get cool and visitors may even find that it is necessary to wear a jacket if traveling to the area during that time.

The hottest month of the year is July when the average high temperature is over one hundred degrees and the average low temperature hovers around eighty.  This type of temperature is common for the summer months surrounding this hottest of months and it is generally recommended that visitors try to avoid these hottest months if at all possible.

The coolest month of the year is December, when the temperature stays somewhere between sixty degrees and seventy five degrees throughout the day.  This may not be an ideal time to visit the area because this can be a bit cool for taking advantage of the beautiful beaches of the area.  Instead, visitors should come during the mid-seasons of spring or autumn.
