DAR ESSID is a beautiful house/museum located in the Medina at Sousse, walk about 200/300 metres up the inner wall from where the bus/coach station is and you will find it on your left hand side (it is up a slight incline). It is extremely cheap to enter and everything is so 'lived in' and well kept. It is set out over several floors accessed by steps so anyone with walking difficulties may struggle. The rooftop seating area has the most fabulous views of the Medina and the bay, for the more agile you could climb the spiral stairs of the tower. Well worth a visit to see how people used to live.
