It is possible to visit the pristine jungle found in the Reserve Zone of the Manu Biosphere Reserve even if you are short on time. Here are some tour companies with shorter trips that go into the Reserve Zone which is on the Manu River, past the Limonal Ranger Station, and does require a permit to enter. Flights were between Cusco and Boca Manu. These prices were current as of February 2007.

- www.manuexpeditions.com has a 6 day drive/fly for $1410 but you can pay extra to fly/fly for a 4 day trip
- www.pantiacolla.com has a 5 day fly/fly starting at $895 for a group of 6 up to $1575 for a group of 2
- www.inkanatura.com has a 5 day fly/fly for $1160 with 2 nights in a tented camp within Reserve Zone and 2 nights at the Manu Wildlife Center in the Cultural Zone
Some of these do not include the $50 entrance permit fee but Mayuc and SAS do include it. Accomodations differ but all are within the Reserve Zone.
