            The Urban Tidewater Region found in the area around Virginia Beach has a temperate climate, experiencing four distinct seasons.  The summer months can get very hot, with humidity levels fairly high.  The winters on the other hand can get very cold, with nighttime temperatures dropping below the freezing point fairly often.  For more information, Check out the Virginia Beach Averages page for more information.
