There may be morre pretentious places and those that are easier of access but take a boat to Fundamente Nove and try Algubagio Restaurant and Bar.
The service is impeccable and the food good. It is not cheap but in Venice nowhere is (except Enoteca San Marcuole ). Give it a try, especially the seafood platter and you will not be diasappointed.
