This restaurant serves Mediterranean food in a light and surprising way and the food is really delicious. The restaurant is elegant and is far and away the best restaurant in the city of Malaga. I recommend having reservations because it gets full. There is a very small parking lot that you cannot count on parking your car there. Better to park your car somewhere and just walk or take a taxi. This restaurant is worth it.

This restaurant is a traditional Spanish restaurant that calls itself a corner of Castilla-Leon in Malaga. Its specialties are its beef and pork, perfectly aged and done to perfection, with big portions. The staff are very attentive and are perfectly trained to provide a wonderful dining experience. There is a large non-smoking section also.
15. Restaurante Don Lope
Calle Esperanto, 17
Tel. 952-288-784
This is an exciting new restaurant located beside the big San Juan de la Cruz parking lot. The restaurant is small and elegant, and has the cuisine of Segovia. The food is very well prepared and presented, and the service is friendly and unassuming. The specialty of the house is cochinillo, the roast suckling pig. They get their suckling pigs from a company in Segovia that hand raises the pigs on a special diet and the pigs are coddled since birth. Don Lope is only the 16th restaurant in Spain that gets these special pigs. The prices at this restaurant are very moderate and much less than the other good restaurants in the city. There is a menu of the day that is a steal at 14 euros. The menu is very extensive and has other exquisite dishes. This restaurant is among the top three restaurants in the city.
