Shopping in Stratford-upon-Avon is the same as anywhere else.   There are branches of most of the large chain stores in the town centre and lots of tourist shops, all seeming to sell exactly the same things.  The traditional Friday market is interesting, and the Farmers' Market on 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month gives a good display of local produce.  The smaller shops do not seem to last long because of the high rents.
