The Stratford Greenway is 5miles of traffic free cycle and walking path. Starting on the Western side of town at Severn Meadows Island it heads out of town along the river and racecourse. Halfway along it is a railway carriage converted into a cafe which does fantastic teas and cakes!
You can visit the nearby villages of Welford and Long Marston. Both have lovely pubs to stop and have a drink or a bite to eat.
If you want to hire bikes they can be delivered to your hotel, to the start of the Greenway or any other convenient location.
