Aventura Spa Palace - Very romantic! Quiet but energetic place where you can be alone without ever being alone. It's an adults-only all-inclusive 85 acres resort and spa, so you're not going to have a bunch of little kids running around and hogging the pool. There is a total of 4 beautiful pools. 2 are beautiful , large lagoon-style pools-both with swim up bars. The north pool is the most active with live music, entertainment and volleyball- the south pool is quieter. There is also a cross current pool (with waterfall) for exercise and an indoor aquatic sound pool with a cold water plunge. There are 7 hot tubs. There is a nice quiet beach with lots of umbrellas and lounges around the beautiful, clear ocean- fed lagoons, where you can swim, snorkel, float or kyack. There is fantastic full service at both beach and pools (drinks and food).There is a world class spa rated as one of the top 10 in the world (romantic couples massages), state -of -the -arts gym, climbing wall, fitness trail, meditation garden, beautiful botanical gardens, yoga, spinning, tango lessons, dive tank and lessons, lighted tennis courts, basketball courts, bicycles, pool tables, ping pong, beach volleyball, disco, piano bar, martini bar, live music and dancing in the lobbies,nightly entertainment, free wireless internet, free tours (Chichen Itza, Tulum, Paradise sail and snorkel, WetNWild, Isla Mujeures, etc.), discounts on spa services and golf, great lobby shops (Jeweley shops- gift shop- spa shop-golf shop), golf at Moon or Playacar Palace (and free use of all other Palace Resorts and their ammenities); also Playa is only a 10 minute cab ride away from 5th Ave. shops and clubs. Le Blanc Spa Resort - Luxurious and pampering with a wonderful beach. It is adults-only, has three big beautiful pools, 3 restaurants with excellent food, and first-class service. It is only a couple of blocks away from most discos, nightclubs, restaurants, and stores.
Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa - More affordable than most hotels. It is not luxurious, but it is adults-only, has about five different restaurants (none of which require reservation), the food is very good, the staff is amazingly friendly, the lively atmosphere is great, and the beach section is arguably the best in Cancun.
Excellence Riviera Cancun - Adults only, , eight restaurants (none require reservation), lots of pools, beach (but not the best), lots of honeymooners. Located about 25 minutes south of cancun, 25 minutes north of playa del carmen, so not great location if want to visit one of these places or experience cancun nightlife. However, lots of activities throughout the day and in the evening. Beautiful rooms and grounds, 24 hour room service, no wristbands, top shelf liquor, excellent service. Also have complimentary honeymoon package - banner on door, welcome fruit basket and champagne, 15% discount on spa services.
