El Tacon de Marlin is a great place to go upon arrival or departure from airport for seafood burritos. You can check in for your flight then walk over pedestrian bridge to the other side of street from the airport and as soon as you exit the bridge you will see the restaurant about 20 feet away. A great ideas is to take a burrito on plane for trip back after eating one at the shop ordering the one to go without lettuce (sin lechuga) so it does not get soggy during flight as this author has done so as to avoid purchasing overpriced unsatisfying food on the plane.. The Robalo is a rolled fish fillet stuffed with large shrimp and wrapped in bacon. The shredded smoked marlin burrito is also excellent as are the other seafood burritos. Many people get beer from the SIX minimarket right next door and enjoy drinking it openly in the restaurant with their food in the like you may see some locals do. HINT: The green sauce on table is HABENERO!!!! Hours 10:30am to 7:30pm Airport Location Across the street from the airport almost directly at the exit of the pedestrian bridge address is Av. Fco. M. Ascencio 8106, Phone 52 (322) 221-1914(Note for non-seafood eaters there is also a roasted chicken place nearby)
A second locationis located in Centro-Downtown is located at Peru #145-E Corner with Honduras.
