北に鳥取県に面した山間の村は静かな山深い場所にありまして岡山県でも数少なくなった「村」です。付近の町村が平成の大合併で「市」なりましたが森林が多く豊かな西粟倉村は合併しませんでした。冬場は積雪が多くスキー場もあります。温泉施設が２箇所あり泉質が良く温まると人気です。また森林王国と言われ林業が盛んです。寂しい山里ですがのんびりした村民性があり暖かな村です。 more
