After visiting Ise Shrine , turn right when you cross back over the Uji Bridge . Oharai - Machi and it's Edo Period shops are on your right . The main street , which I think is about 200 metres long...more

Stayed here May 2006 . Clean , comfortable hotel approximately 5 minutes walk from Ise Sangu Station . There is a small supermarket about 100 metres from hotel where can buy sushi / sashimi or snacks...more

The staff I met spoke very little English. I had Japanese speaking friends with me who helped out. This ryokan is known locally for its macro-biotic food. I didn't eat there so I can't comment. ...more
