This place was a real find – it is real rustic Tuscany – not too many tourists

Amazing views – never got to check out the local village but seemed really good – lots of life

All apartments or houses – if your budget can stretch to it get a privates villa – mine didn’t – ask for the REALLY PRIVATE one – there are 2

Nice swimming pool and great staff –

Best bit about this place is the restaurant right beside it – go to the top of the road and take a left a the roundabout (100m away) and then another 100m down the road is the restaurant on the left – best mean I had in Italy and the place was full of locals – always a good sign and the staff were cool

The views of this place are amazing and the olive garden is great – very easy to get yourself and your girlfriend lost – if you want to ;-)

Great apartments – can’t say enough but is a bit more basic than the other place we stayed in – not quite as high quality but terrific value

I found the Relais Villa L'Olmo using the Fodors guide, and I was extremely impressed with everything about our stay. The price was cheaper than anything else on our trip to Italy, and it was by far the best. The pool was beautiful overlooking the olive, fig, and peach trees, with nobody else there! Eleonora at the front desk was EXTREMELY nice, and so was Claudia the owner via email and phone.

They only have 2 nights available, as we wanted 4. Due to this, they recommended their Florence location, the Palazzo Magnani Feroni, and even offered us a ride over if we needed!

Anyways, as I had been carying my fiance's ring through Italy, this seemed to be the perfect place to propose! After an extremely romantic walk down to their restaraunt (I Cavallacci I beleive?), with some amazing linguini white clam, pizza, and house white (making it one of our signature 2 bottle nights), I proposed ourside at the lit up pool. We relaxed outside until about 2AM when they turned the lights off on us.

Again, cannot recommend this place enough! Room was spacious, beds comfy, quick ride to Firenze, oozes romance :)

I loved my stay here. I went with my partner, mother and sister who all thought the views were just spectacular. Lovely views on rambling tuscan countryside. Lovely and warm rooms (in winter) and a lovely balcony leading into the pool which would be perfect for summer.
We had breakfast (at an extra 5euro pp) only on the first day which was traditional. Also recommend a visit to the Castellio Verazzano nearby for the wine and food experience. Will definately be back!

We stayed at the Villa l'olmo near Florence in a charming apartment with excellent facilities including a large pool surrounded by olive trees and vineyards which extended to wonderful far reaching views.
breakfast was served in the romantic loggia by very attentive staff who contributed greatly to making our stay very memorable.
Our day trips to the near by ancient towns of Tuscany were equally memorable.
