Whenever I am in Honolulu for business I am always sure to stay at the honolulu prince hotel. It is a hotel that is run like a family business where each and every employee takes pride in the job that is to be performed like they own the business themselves. we are treated with courtesy, respect and warm hospitality that is synonomous with the spirit of hawaiin aloha. Isao at the front desk always treats us like a family member and I always look forward to future visits. I consider the honolulu prince my family and home away from home.

Mahalo for your review and mahalo for sharing your comparison of our service to a family business. It is a wonderful compliment that you felt respected, that our employees have the spirit of Aloha and they treat the hotel as if they owned it! I do apologize for the city road improvement. I I am happy that the City and County has notified us that they are re-paving the street this week and will be completed by Friday. We are so blessed to have Isao at the Front Desk on our TEAM. He consistently goes the extra mile for our guests and lives the word, hospitality. Mahalo again!

I had a great time staying here.. nothing fancy, but I loved it.. 5 minute walk to beach and street market, restaurants, shops, and supermarket. The construction outside woke us up early, but I'm sure that's temporary.. Spacious rooms, especiall our 2-bed suite w/ kitchen.. Thanks Harry!

Let's see, we arrived on the 23rd of April...went straight to the hotel to check in, we were greeted kindly. The check in process took minutes and we were up in our room in no time. The room is great, it was large, huge balcony with table and chairs....everything that I needed was there and I was really pleased after a long flight. If you ever come to this hotel, talk to "Isao" wonderful guy, helped me out, treated us very kindly and answered any questions that I had. I wanted to take a trip, sight seeing around Honolulu and he pointed out some great spots, I went there and they were wonderul!! Thanks Isao. Staff is great, room was awesome, I'm well pleased for the price I paid. We had scooters so parking was free, but if you have car you have to pay extra $18 a day. Honoulu parking is horrible all in itself, recommend getting a scooter. It's Fun!...back to Hotel...I'd give it a five star for the price I paid AAA+++. Again, come...enjoy the stay here and you will not regret it. Just dont think it's Hilton top of the line hotel, if that then...yeah, you'll be dissapointed. Aqua Honolulu Prince, I'm deffinetly staying here for my next visit. Thank you staff!!

Thank you for taking the time to post a review on the Honolulu Prince. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and we appreciate your kind comments. You are absolutely right, we are not the Hilton and not even a mid-price hotel. The Honolulu Prince is simply a budget, lite hotel that is ready for its upcoming renovation. The real "beauty" of the hotel is that whether a budget hotel or the upcoming boutique hotel we will be in this next year, the staff remains consistent: friendly, helpful and proud of their hotel, all makings for a feel at home experience.

thanks to all the staff. especially Harry and Mike. always there to help me, my family, and guests from abroad with a great hawaiian spriit, smile and superior service above and beyond the call of duty, this is my 10th stay and I must say the best kamaaina hotel in waikiki. thank you all staff and mgmt team. you are the best. I will be back. mahalo very much sincerely.

Wow, we are so very honored by your review, a colleague in the hospitality industry, at the Hilton Hawaiian Village to boot! Mahalo for noticing that although as humble an Aqua Lite Hotel the Honolulu Prince is, you feel the aloha from the TEAM.

Kalei Lyman, Hotel Manager, and I, have managed the hotel for one month now and the blessing for us has been the staff! Their smiles and dedication to the Honolulu Prince, through good times and bad, give Kalei and I the extra incentive to do whatever it takes to guide the hotel to the next level.

An extensive renovation is in the planning and we look forward to sharing the plans with you very shortly as we transition to an Aqua Boutique Hotel!

We were really happy with this place. We come to Waikiki a lot, but always on a tight budget. The Prince has a very central location but sometimes it was like no one was home. We were there last week and the place is still run down but everything is clean, rooms are big and everyone is friendly to us. For $76 we got a superior room with a really big lanai and comfy beds.

I would go back again soon.

Although our hotel is due for a renovation, we appreciate that you recognize that our hotel is clean, the rooms/lanais are good size and the beds are comfortable.
