we stayed in the junior suite and it was very roomy. The sofa bed is uncomfortable so we but the mattress on the floor and had a good night sleep. The room has two beds but they are small. We put the together and my sister and her husband slept fine. Continental breakfast is served in the morning and fresh coffee is always on hand in the lobby. Free wireless internet access is available. There were 2 balconys. The room is NOT luxurious at all! it was confortable and we would stay again for sure. Staff was so friendly. The 2 bathrooms had tubs (as other oahu hotels dont) and the kitchenette was stocked w. pans. We would recommed this hotel for anyone except if you want luxury. Oh and the location is great! walkable to the beach, all the reastaurants, and gorgeous shops... chanel Juicy quicksliver prada!

The Aqua Coconut may be one of the oldest hotels in Waikiki. I was a little nervous when I saw the look on our bus driver's face as I gave him our destination. But that melted into joy when he dropped us off in front of an elegant white building set high on a little hill overlooking the canal that runs through Waikiki. Our room had a balcony and beautiful view of the canal, golf course, skyscrapers and mountain backdrop. In the early morning we watched joggers and boaters as the sun came up. The hotel staff were very freindly and helpful. I left a jacket in my room and they mailed it to my home in upstate NY. There was coffee and tea available 24 hrs in the lobby. Downside - the hotel really needs to be renovated. Make sure you get a room in an upper level and looking toward the mountains because no matter how shabby the room, it is so worth the price we paid to be in such a great location! So although, old and worn inside, it was clean, comfortable,freindly, and with the money we saved, we were able to enjoy a great dinner out at the Ocean House restaurant.

We stayed with a group of our friends at your Hotel in January. The staff made our trip!!! They were the best!!! Friendly, helpful, knoweledgeable, and really are a asset to the Hotel. The Hotel itself needs remodeling and we understand that's being done. In fact we got to see a new room. Which is lovely! So we are looking forward to our next visit!!

I stayed at this hotel Feb 6-13th booked a mountain view studio which was too small not the 400 sq feet I was exspecting, so I upgraded to the junior suite much bigger room , had to be at least twice the size of the studio room The room included, a king bed, sofa, 1.5 baths, mini fridge , microwave and a stovetop and a nice view of the mountains. The furniture and especially the curtains needed to be replaced, but as stated before in the other reviews the hotel is about to be renovated. all the gentlemen I encountered at the front desk were always very friendly and helpful. outstanding customer service. Skip the breakfast and go somewhere else like we did. I loved the location I found it be very peacful, even though we rented a car some days we enjoyed walking to be beach and shops which are about four blocks up the road.overal I enjoyed my stay and feel as if this hotel has alot of potiential, I thought of it as a diamond in the ruff ,would love too come back and visit again after the renovations.
