We stayed at this Res Inn for an entire week. I wasn't sure when we arrived what kind of stay we would have. We arrived very late - but I had called and said we would be late. I had reserved a suite for my family. When we arrived, we were told we had two separate rooms as they had no more suites available. I was quite upset as I had reserved a suite four months prior to our visit and we had brought common toiletries to share within the family. It was late so we stayed with what they had available. My sons room was fine. Our room was not very clean, there were cobwebs w/bonus spiders in the corners of each room. The next morning I spoke to a manager - they put us in another room which was much better for the remainder of our stay. Our boys (ages 15 & 19) preferred their own 'place' so this worked out for all of us.

The breakfast each morning was wonderful. Warm eggs, pancakes, sausage, and a ton of other items. That in itself was a great addition. But they also serve a light supper Mon-Thurs. This was posted on our fridge and we were also informed about it when we inquired if there was a private party taking place.

The location was great. Right off 263 which took us whereever we needed to go. We would stay at this place again.

**The only concern I have is that we left a bag of newly purchased kitchen items from a local mall, and we forgot it when we left. The bag is missing. I was hoping that someone would have turned it in and we would have paid the shipping to get it back.

“More than you expect!”

Residence Inn Buffalo Amherst

This was my second visit to this Residence Inn, the first time was in 1999. We loved it that time, but loved it more this time around. They have done significant remodeling to the rooms, which are roomy. We rented the "townhouse" style which offers a full kitchen (complete with popcorn, assorted teas and coffees, etc.) a loft room upstairs with a full bath and a very comfortable murphy bed and full bath downstairs.

We had four adults and it was perfect. It also has a desk area, den area, and fireplace. It does not feel like a hotel room. Our room was back off the main road, which can be noisy, so if you can ask for one in the back. Not only is it quiet, but we even had a pair of bunnies that we saw every morning and evening!

The staff was the bomb! They were some of the happiest people I have encountered in Buffalo. Not only is there a wonderful full breakfast every morning, plenty to go around. Tables, however, are at a premium during the busy summer months, so you may want to go early.

On top of that they also have a light dinner that they serve Mon.-Thurs. that is included in the room rate, but they don't advertise this for some reason. AND they even have free wine and beer to boot!

This place is great for families and couples alike, it was more than what we remembered from our last visit. I highly recommend it.

Very pleasent staff, excellent room and a spread of good food a breakfast.

Good location north of airport, close to Niagra and downtown.

“Very good value !!”

Residence Inn Buffalo Amherst

My wife and I stayed at the Residence Inn this past weekend. We stayed in what they call a penthouse suite (excellent value for $94 per night). The buildings look like a townhouse complex from the street and the penthouse units are on the second floor with a loft bedroom on the third floor. These units have a full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, 2 tv's and a fireplace(artificial logs only) in the living area. A very good breakfast is served in the lobby/recepyion area with real dishes and flatware - a nice change from the disposable dishes and cutlery at most breakfast included places. Location was close to shopping, restaurants and major highway access. It was very clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
