Booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. Wasn't sure what to expect from a 2 star motel, but were very pleased with our stay. Staff friendly, broken tv fixed right away, breakfast adequate. Plenty of parking, clean rooms and free wireless internet were all pluses. But I especially liked the size of the rooms, VERY big and the price was right! Also very easily accessible by several major highways. The Lord Amherst was perfect for our needs.

Nice hotel for your buck !!! But try to get non-smoking rm. Looks like they did rooms renovation and general appearance is nice.

We stay here during the week while attending Grad School in Buffalo. The rates are amazing as are the staff. Very friendly and comfortable place to stay with free wireless internet connection and continental breakfast (ie coffee, apple juice, orange juice, muffins, danish and hot and cold cereal). The rooms are very large with a desk and lazy boy chair, coffee maker and two types of coffee in the room. Situated in a lovely safe area of Buffalo, with very easy highway connections. Outdoor pool too!

Great location - easy to access from Exit 50, of the NYS Thruway. New restaurant - SONOMA GRILL - was fabulous for dinner!Simple but clean accomodations. Good desk / working and reading area in the rooms. Easy to grab continental breakfast - assorted selections.
