The tapas were delicious and the atmosphere was very European. The morcillas and the canelones are a must! The wine list did seem unnecessarily on the high side but the experience was truly memorable. I would definitely visit this restaurant again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this cozy restaurant. We didn't want a big meal & the tapa portions were perfect. The waitress was patient as we contemplated our choices & let us know that we could add more later (which we did). My husband loved the creamy baby spinach while I enjoyed the melt in your mouth tuna carpaccio. My daughter highly recommends the 3 dish dessert sampler, especially the extra rich chocolaty but not overly sweet creme de pots
We just happened to see an ad in the yellow pages, and quickly made a reservation. As vegetarians, it's hard to find excellent food, but La Boca exceeded our expectations. They were really busy, so I'm glad we had reservations. We had a nice bottle of rioja, a chile/roasted garlic special, and hummus. I also ordered the artichoke hearts with goat cheese, but I didn't like them, so I didn't eat them--and the waiter took that dish off the bill! That's amazing service!
The crown jewel of our meal was the eggplant--I highly recommend that dish. I imagine the meat dishes were also excellent. The service was perfect, attentive but not overly so. I will definitely eat here again if I find myself back in Santa Fe.
This place is astounding. My wife and I were there for a "BIg Chill " Event with some friends in late June. The freshness of the fish, produce and meats were not to be belived. And the service was not only impeccable but genuinely friendly and informative. Great wines, too. We got to Santa Fe and this has become one of the best two in town (Santa Cafe is awesome)
My wife & I ate here for my birthday in June, 2007. We used to go to this location when it was Paul's Restaurant and had heard great things about its transformation to La Boca. We were blown away!
First of all, Santa Fe is known as a city with some great eateries, but service can be a weak spot at almost any level restaurant. We had the best service in Santa Fe from Miguel our waiter, and very attentive service from the bus staff.
The food was excellent. Where else can you get amazing grilled baby octopus at 7,000 feet that is tasty and tender? Each dish is masterly prepared and tastes wonderful. Another great factor is that they do not rush you at La Boca. The room is petite and provides a romantic and sublime dining experience.
