Our room with two beds was very spacious & attractive. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, the shutters on the windows looked nice but didn't keep the room real dark at night or in the morning. The breakfast selections were limited but did include eggs. We had no problems with check-in or check-out. These is a computer in the lobby that you can pay to use - but you can use it at no charge to print boarding passes. You have to use your room key to get the elevator to go & it takes the elevator doors a long time to close - but we got used to that after a couple of days. The air conditioner is rather noise when it comes on. One night, the neighbors in the adjoining room made a lot of noise until 4 a.m. - the noise kept my friend awake but I slept through it. We didn't hear noise from other rooms at any other times.

Overall, I thought it was a very nice hotel in a great location.

The hotel is right across the street from the Alamo and across the street from the Rivercenter mall. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Buffet was ok, but above average vs. other hotel breakfasts.

My wife and I loved it. We plan on staying there again for the next time!

The Crockett has just had a refurbishment and is looking great!

The room is large, and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom looked like it had been painted by elementary school kids over a weekend. I hope that they didn't pay tradesman's rates for that job it really lets the whole room down.

The location is awesome, with the Alamo just across the street, the river walk, and rivercity mall across the other street.

PROS - Great location, nice updated rooms, great breakfast included.
CONS - Front desk a little disorganized and slow.
