This hotel has the perfect location. It is in the middle of everything; the riverwalk, alamo, restaurants, etc. Parking was a little bit of a pain and was not included in the price of the hotel. The staff was friendly, but they seemed under staffed. The rooms were comfortable but a little dated. It was a nice hotel but nothing spectacular. We got a good deal on the price and since we weren't there for very long, we really appreciated the convenient location. The rooms were clean and no real complaints, so I would stay there again.

Where do I start? What an increasable Breakfast. Warm eggs, bacon, and waffles too.. Fresh Muffins & fruit and of course hot coffee WOW. I have never stayed at Homewood Suites like this one before. My room was clean and my housekeeper Rosa left me nice little notes like "Have a great day". I never expected that. I was here on business and really appreciated the kindness of all the staff. The manager’s reception was unbelievable. I only expected finger food and cold sandwiches but this hotel had Breaded Cod one night, Chicken Cordon Bleu the next..such an amazing variety of food. The other Homewood Suites I've stayed at could never compare to This Hotels food selection. Like I said WOW. I would recommend this hotel to all my associates for business and pleasure. What a view from the lobby to see the riverwalk and all the boat tours too. Thanks Homewood Suites on the Riverwalk for a wonderful stay..

This was a very good hotel experience. The staff was friendly and the everything was clean. I felt very comfortable in the hotel and the services I needed were available. The rooms have high speed internet (that is actually high speed). Wireless is only in the lobby. The dining room overlooks the riverwalk and a corner of the street. It is a very relaxing view for breakfast in the morning.

I had one maintenance need (light switch didn't work) and it was taken care of immediately.

You can walk from here to all kinds of San Antonio sites. You could spend days just visiting sites that are within easy walking distance. Public transportation is available right across the street and parking is in the same building.

Aside from the light switch not working the only other negative experience was that the water pressure in the shower was too high for my liking. I would definitely return and bring my family.

This was a great place to stay. We were staying over Spring Break and we chose this hotel due to the size of the suites. The staff was top notch and the suites were very large. My family of five stayed in a room with what looked like two queen beds and there was plenty of room for all of us. The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the free breakfast and the evening food was a plus. Homewood Suites does a great job and this hotel really exemplifies their commitment to excelence.
