Great place, my family and I had a nice time. The staff was very helpful and let us view several rooms before we decided to stay. The children enjoyed the basketball court ,the daily breakfast, and the evening sack.

I enjoyed the two television and the separate bedroom.

Since my mom lives nearby this location, we stay there alot. A couple of years ago, it was just so-so, good value, little else. I even had a giant roach crawling in my bedroom, but that was long ago.

It really has improved over the year or two to an above-average location (and no more creepy insects). I returned because it's a good value and it appeared to be an aberration anyway (they were also very sorry).

Another reason I return is because they people there are very nice. Once, my sentimentally valuable aquamarine ring dropped off the counter and accidentally on the floor area/trash can of the bathroom. I left it there and didn't realize it was missing until that afternoon on the ride home. In a panic, we contacted the management and they sent someone to look. Someone had found it and TURNED IT IN! We were very grateful for their effort and honesty.

The facility is clean and they have improved their supplies of pillows/blankets, etc. They have a good, hot breakfast. The fitness center is just a couple of cardio equipment (no weights) pieces in a small room, but it's nearly always empty. The pool is small, but always warm enough for my kids, and the hot tub is always heated nicely.

In short, it works out well for us because it's so convenient and well-priced for San Antonio and because it's full of friendly, nice folks.
