good location, my 13 and 9 year old girls had not been to Alamo so it was a good educational experience for them. riverwalk is close by as well. check in was breeze. this was spring break week so hotel was very crowded. breakfast was a challenge to get around all the other people and toast a muffin but overall was about what you'd expect for a free breakfast. only complaint was the room I booked was just one big room with a queen bed and a sofa bed. wasn't bad for a short stay but most residence inns I've stayed at have two separate rooms, with each room having its own TV. A little misleading from the way it looks when booking on the website. otherwise a great stay.

I stayed 4 nights in this hotel for a business trip and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were very spacious. I had the studio room and I felt as if there was more than enough room to spread out and enjoy my stay. It was nice to have a kitchenette and fridge, so you can save money by not eating out all the time. You're a short distance from the Riverwalk and directly across the street from the Alamo. The hotel is kind of on the outskirts of the immediate downtown area and thus, the area looks a little rundown in some areas. However, I never felt unsafe during my stay. The staff were all so helpful and kind and never hesitated to answer our questions. They were also prompt in getting a taxi for us, even going so far as to go to the street and hail a cab for us at 4:30am. The breakfast that's offered is great and it's always well stocked.

Overall this is a fantastic hotel and I'd love to stay there again when I return to San Antonio.

Truly a great property. From check in to check out total satisfaction. Clean beyond my expectations. Nothing out of place, bright, cheery, organized. From the kitchenette to the bed linens everything looked new. Breakfast was top notch. We will use this hotel again and again and again.
