We stayed at the campground and went to Lagoon on two consecutive days last week. The first day was cold and the kids rode all the rides they wanted to with very little waiting. The next day was a beautiful Friday and the place was packed. My older kids had a plan to get there early and ride the new roller coaster as many times before the line became long. They waited in line 30 minutes before they were informed the ride would not open for two hours and disappointed they got out of line. The lines even for the little kids were over an hour! This could be relieved by having two ride attendants at each ride-- one securing the kids on and off and the other running the ride, but it seems Lagoon doesn't care that you wait forever to ride. The roller coasters were out of the question that whole day, as the lines ran half way around the small amusement park. We went to the "Lagoon-a-beach" which was another huge disappointment. The water was literally freezing COLD and the little kid area is of such a horrible design where you cannot watch your kids from one place. The kids can go through this cavelike tunnel and you must run around it to the other side to watch them there and then there's a third area that they can escape to. You need three adults there to watch your children unless you yourself are crazy enough to get in that cold water. There is not even a pool there, just a lazy river and some slides. They even charge you more for tubes. And the showers are likewise poorly designed as they are on the opposite end from the dressing area, pass the toilets. And, the campground is the most cramped campground I have ever seen; you literally are like 3-4 feet from your neighbor, the sewer was on the wrong side and several of the spots had no place for your tow vehicle that you had to park half in the road. Save your money.
