Hi , What a con. Alpine glacier Motel advertises spa room and dvds in all rooms What they mean is pay $5 for a half hour spa use ina communal spa and the dvds were not dvds but dvd players and it was $5 to borrow one.Also when someone tried to ring me they wouldnt put the call through and when it was insisted LOST?? the call. Hopeless. Pity about the management because the rooms were new and OK. Eating out in Franz Joseph is limited but would recommend Alice Mays Restaurant as a fun place.

The Alpine Glacier Motel is now under new Ownership and Management. We do have DVD players in every room and now offer a complimentarty DVD library for our guests enjoyment. We have a spa room which can be booked by any guest for private use.
