On the outside, the hotel looks nice, but the minute you step inside the carpet gives it away. The hallway carpet and the elevator carpet is old, dirty and doesn't sit flat. The rooms are the same way. The furniture, bedding and carpet are very dated and look dirty. The comforter on the bed had a cigarette hole and the room smelled musty. The AC in the common areas wasn't working and the pool was closed as a skunk got in it. Need I say more!

My husband & I stayed at this facility for three days. Travelers need to know that the rooms are very small. We also had problems with staff being rude and unresponsive. The only front desk staff person that was helpful was a young man who checked us in on the day we arrived. Do not bother asking housekeeping any questions. None of them speak English.

I had stayed at this hotel a year ago and found it to be a good value. It still may be compared to others, but it is showing some signs of wear and tear. The mattress wasn't very comfortable. The hallway carpets had unsightly dust along the baseboards. On the positive side, the desk clerk was most helpful in getting a refrigerator for my room.

The hotel is in a convenient area, and new stores have opened nearby since last year. It isn't a bad hotel, but I may shop around a little more next time to see if there is a better option.

I found this hotel through Trip Advisor.Retrospectively, it was an inspired decision. For those who don't know Atlanta, the Buckhead area where the hotel is located is 10 minutes away by taxi from downtown or by the Metropolitan rail authority. The hotel is neat with the reception staff being very polite and helpful. The room itself was decent sized with good mattresses and airconditioning/microwave/coffeemaker/fridge/iron and stand for pressing clothes.The room was neat. The toilet was of adequate size and neat though it looked well worn.The TV had about 40 channels. There is an icevending machine/softdrink machine next to my room which was useful.There is a swimming pool which looked adequate and clean though I did not use it.Breakfast is included and is served from from 7 - 10 am. It is all continental and pre-prepared- strictly utilitarian and served in polystyreene plates with plastic utensils - so if you are like me and hate these - then don't look forward to breakfast!
There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel with buses running approx. every 15 minutes to the Lindhberg station less than 5 minutes away from where you can catch the underground rail system (MARTA rail) which runs through the city right to the airport. Its excellent and a 4 day Breeze card which includes both bus and rail unlimited travel in the MARTA region for about $12. I found that there is no need to take the taxi at all. There is a convenience store across the road in the Petrol pump and many eateries including pizza hut/fatburger and starbucks. 5 minutes away by bus or 10 minutes by walk there are more shops(toward Lindhberg station). All in all this hotel is recommended for staying in Atlanta for all categories of travellers incl. families who are on a tight budget.
Incidentally I stayed here for my USMLE CS exams and I took the 6:50 bus from the hotel and the 7 am MARTA rail from Lindhberg station to the Airport and a taxi from the Airport to the center costing $11. I was there by 7:50 am in good time for the exam so the hotel is convnenient. Plus the area near the centre is depressing with nothing around so avoid staying near the center
