Liked my big and fairly newly remodeled two room suite, luxurious bed, the included wireless internet. Downtown Atlanta is pretty dreary, though, especially after dark.

Great hotel for the price. I was attending a conference at the Georgia World Congress Center, and this hotel was close enough that I was able to walk back and forth. I would definitely consider staying at this hotel next time I'm in Atlanta.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel last april. We had a room on 4th floor overlooking the busy Spring Street. We were very disappointed to notice that contrary to the lobby, this room was not equiped with double windows. As the result it was pretty noisy and we had to use ear plugs to get some rest. and not to hear street trafic and night train horns -even far away-.
Except one exception staff was not kind : no help to get a taxi, no help with lugages, no good morning at breakfast time.Upon check out we reported a small amount of valet laundry erroneously charged. This resulted in the suspicious check of all laundry vouchers and the correction of our invoice without a word of excuse.
Too bad as bedding was exceptional -as in all Hampton Inns-, housekeeping acceptable, breakfast above average including breakfast room, Internet access appreciated, location more than adequate (walking distance to numerous sites and to public transportation).

My boyfriend and I went to Atlanta for the Final Four and - given that our trip was booked just a few days before the weekend - had limited hotel options. We ended up splitting our time between the Embassy Suites Centennial Park and the Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown.

I must admit that, prior to this weekend, I had never stayed at a Hampton Inn and was not certain what to expect - I was expecting something basic and was hoping it was clean. I was blown away by the actual hotel and wish I had been able to spend all three nights there!

When we arrived, the front desk personnel went out of their way to help us - giving us directions, maps, recommendations, our internet access code (free internet - a nice touch); everyone was extremely warm and friendly.

Our room was small but very clean with modern furnishings and an extremely comfortable bed. They provided several pillows - four on our king-sized bed - and they were both feather and foam, so my boyfriend and I were each able to have the pillow type that we liked. The bathroom was clean as well - we didn't spend much time in our room (just to sleep) but it surpassed my expectations. Room prices were inflated significantly for the Final Four weekend, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if I was visiting Atlanta.

Hotel also has good location - walking distance to many attractions and restaurants on Peachtree Street. All in all, a very pleasant surprise!
