First of all... It took my family and I (2 small childred, and my in-laws) over an hour to find this Hotel because the hotel is on Cobb Parkway SE and our "popular mapping web-site" directions sent us to Cobb Drive SE.... So before you go make sure you have the correct directions. I must have called the lady at the front desk a dozen times telling her that we were lost. She was so kind and patient, and we finally figured out that we had the wrong road. If I had been her I would have hung up on me after the 5th or 6th call.

When we got to the hotel we were flabbergasted... Our rate was $69/night (weekend rate). Rarely do you find a property for that price in a large city like Atlanta that doesn't offer hourly rates as well. The place was immaculate and it only took a few mins to check us in and get settled.

Our rooms were amazingly clean. My only problem was the heater. I could never seem to get it just right, until the 2nd night when I woke up and thought I was in the middle of the Sahara. But I made do.

We went to Atlanta to go to the new Aquarium, and we thought that we would be a long ways away, but it turned out that we were only 15 mins. (via the interstate) from all of the downtown attractions. It was actually a great location. It was 2 mins away from a decent mall (Cumberland Mall) which has very popular restaurants such as P F Changs and Cheesecake factory. So if you go I would suggest that you make a reservation at one of those restaurants. The Cheesecake Factory was awesome (but that is for a different review). But if you get in late as we did you will find, right next door, an Applebees and Wendy's.

One of the best features of the hotel was the hot breakfast. We were so surprised. They had eggs and bacon and sausage and fresh waffles. Along with the other staples of regular continental breakfast such as danishes, bagels, cereal and yogurt.

On our second night I had to run to a drugstore in the middle of the night for some medicine for my daughter. When I went to the front desk to ask them where a drugstore was they said that I could take their courtesy shuttle. They even offered to call ahead so my items would be waiting.

My daughter loved the indoor swimming pool and hot tub, and the exercise room was great for a run.

Overall this is a great place to stay if you are either vacationing or on a business trip to atlanta.

We were very pleased with the clean room and accomodations. Unfortunately, on two occasions, other guests tried to enter our room and would have gained entry if we had not engaged the lock and bar on the door. The desk clerk had twice given out keys to our room. I can understand making the mistake once- but TWICE by the same individual? The following morning, I left the room to drop off my husband at a job interview and was gone only fifteen minutes. When I returned to my room I had been locked out. Excuse me, but when a hotel says checkout is 11am, I expect my key to work at 9am! I cannot recommend staying at this hotel.

I stayed at this location on Dec. 30,2006 for 2 nites and it was a wonderful experience. Everyone on staff doing our stay was excellent. If you are ever there please make sure you see Scott and Andre who are the shuttle bus drivers/maintenance guys. They are full of conversation and just nice guys. Scott will keep you laughing. Also Candy and Marcia were very friendly, polite and helpful. Thanks to Candy we got to all of the attractions that we wanted to see due to her excellent directions. Kudos to Marcia also. Tim at the front dest was a great guy who was also hilarious. They all did an exceptional job of making sure our stay was the best ever. The hotel was very neat and clean and the atmosphere was GREAT! Also, please make note that the full hot to order breakfast was TERRIFIC!!!! I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone that wants to get away from the busy hustle in bustle of downtown Atlanta.

My first room had a very large roach in the bed (luckily I saw it as I pulled the covers back). I was told it was too big to be a cockroach, and was probably a "field roach". They were nice and moved me to another room. The next day when I asked for an airport shuttle number, they offered to call for me. I double-checked with the front desk the next day and they assured me the shuttle service had been called. On Monday morning, the shuttle was supposed to be there at 5:30 AM, and at 5:45 the front desk offered to call me another service because they had no record of my request. I was finally picked up at 6:20 AM and I barely made my plane! The employees were all very nice, but I wouldn't stay there again.
