Several years ago, my husband traveled to Provence, France and loved the food. So........when we saw this restaurant with a French/Provence menu -we had to try it. Every item we ordered was delicious. We were not disappointed! The appetizer we ordered was a collection of dried/cured meats, fruit and cheeses. It is called The Farm House. Awesome! Since I live in a smaller town, it is difficult for me to get quality authentic proscucitto and pate such as they served. -A very nice suprise. The waiter told me they made the chicken pate right there at the restaurant.
Our main courses were just as delicious. I had the Swordfish special that was melt-in-your-mouth perfect. Fresh Fresh Fresh.
My husband had the Duck breast special. Again melt-in-your-mouth delicious. It was cooked medium rare and was tender and juicy.
The only reason I am not giving Anis five stars is that the service was a little inconsistent. The hostess and waiter were great but, the bus server forgot the spoon we asked for and seemed to stand around.
We choose to sit on the patio where the fans kept us nice and cool with a slight breeze. The restaurant itself is on a quiet side street right in the middle of Buckhead yet reminded my husband of being in Provence. Recommend!
