Business serviceMy husband and I stayed here September 7-9, 2007. We were in town for a concert at the HiFi Buys Ampitheatre. Booked this hotel because it was a great value. We only paid about $80.00/night which we thought was very reasonable. Had a room on the first floor with sliding glass door and one step out to the pool. Pool area was very nice and clean. We love the Doubletree bedding and my husband loves the curved bar in the shower because it provides some extra space for bigger men such as himself. Good exit for food options on other side of the interstate. Warm cookie provided upon check in (of course) and they will happily give you another if you ask. Only took us about 35 minutes to get to the ampitheatre even when traffic was heavy. Would stay here again. No fee for parking. Didn't have to check out until noon so it gave us time to enjoy the pool.

ServiceMe and my husband spent a night at the Doubletree for our wedding anniversary. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was very spacious, clean and the bed was the most comfortable bed that we have ever slept in at any hotel. The Lobby area was really nice and the rooms decor was beautiful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will most definitely be back for another stay. Keep up the Good Work.

Business serviceStayed at this property on a recent trip to Atlanta, booking via Priceline. As a Priceline customer, I fully understand that in all likelihood I'm going to get one of the least desirable rooms in the property, and for the price that a Priceline customer is paying vs another customer booking rack rate, I have no issue with this. Hours prior to my arrival, I checked vacancy via the Hilton/Doubletree website and saw that basically all room classes were available. Upon check-in, I requested a non-smoking King, if available, and was told that only smoking rooms were available (again, I understand I get what I get, but it seemed to contradict their advertised vacancy). The desk clerk was friendly, courteous, and professional, so I didn't press the issue, but upon checking for available on the Hilton/Doubletree website from my guest room, they showed non-smoking rooms available for my stay, so I feel that my room was "pre-determined", so to speak.
The hotel itself is of average to slightly above average quality for it's class (3 star). Bed was comfortable, room was clean, bathroom linens and toiletries (standard Doubletree Neutrogena) were of good quality. Some fast food restaurants scattered near the entrance (the hotel is very close to I-75) and sit down restaurants just a short drive away. The hotel is near NAS Atlanta, so there can be some aircraft noise. A bit dissapointed in the Pay-Per-View (only 2 comedies) and cable lineup (no HBO), but that's certainly not a deal-breaker. I would definitely stay here again (I use Priceline 90% of the time so I wouldn't book directly), but enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Suites on the opposite side of I-75 a bit more.

ServiceThe only reason I did not give this hotel 5 stars is because they had given away my pre-reserved room when I tried to check in the first night, even though I had reserved a room weeks in advance. The Doubletree paid for me to stay at the nearby Hawthorne Suites on the first night, and I was given a reduced room rate for the additional 2 nights I stayed at the Doubletree for the inconvenience, along with free breakfast vouchers and free internet. The hotel room was gorgeous and impeccably clean. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in, and all the staff I dealt with were pleasant and accommodating. I would love to say here again the next time I'm in Atlanta (hopefully, without any mishaps next time)!
