I spent 8 nights here on a Business trip. Whilst this hotel is `like a home from home' unfortunately I experienced a few more `hiccups' then previous stays. It was nice to see some familar faces of the staff who still remained at the hotel but some of the newer reception staff were a little brusque/curt in their conversations with you. The hotel provides a courtesy shuttle service Mon-Fri from aprox 08.00 till 21.30pm however if you need a pickup/drop off during the rush hour you can wait anything from 15mins to 45mins!! totally unacceptable. This was not the case when I stayed here a year ago so it seems as though service is slipping a little!. A complimentary hot breakfast is still serviced Mon-Sun which is pleasant & complimentary hot meals are served Mon-Thur from 17.00p which continues to be a nice touch. I brought my family along with me on this trip (hubbie & 2 kids) who also enjoyed the complimentary service which was incl within the room rate of $96.00 per night (incl taxes).
The rooms are clean & all rooms have kitchen facilities - 2 ring stove, full fridge (with ice maker), dishwasher, microwave & cooking/eating utensils - great if you prefer to cook in the evenings. The Kingsize beds are huge and v.comfortable with 6 pillows. The house cleaning service is good & thoroughly done with washing facilites provided - soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, sewing kits etc
Overall an average stay but improvements need to be made amongst some staff members in regards to customer service!
