We recently stayed at the Homewood Suites - Galleria during a driving trip to Florida. The property is conveniently located off I-75 (Exit # 258) in an area dominated by businesses and office buildings....check-in was smooth and uneventful (friendly staff), and our 1 bedroom suite consisted of a combination living room/mini-kitchen/dining area, with a separate bedroom (comfortable king-size bed) and bathroom....the only shortcomings were a faulty light over the bathtub/shower combo and no exhaust fans installed in the bathroom -- plus the buildings are not connected to the main building housing the lobby, which can be a minor inconvenience during inclement weather....overall, the accommodations were nicely furnished and comfortable....on Mon-Thurs they offer a light evening meal in the lobby (we were there on a Friday, so can't comment, but the menu looked appetizing)....the comp breakfast in the lobby was very good -- not a huge selection, but probably a little something for everyone (eggs, bacon, waffle station, fruit, toast, bagels, cereals, etc)....we opted for this hotel largely on the strength of its Trip Advisor rating (#3 in Atlanta, as of this writing)....with other properties in the area, such as Ritz-Carlton and Four Seasons, it's hard to see how this rated so highly, but it's a very good choice if you have business in NW Atlanta, or just looking for safe, spacious, comfortable accommodations.

We stayed here during my husband's business trip to Atlanta. It was important for us to be in a nice, clean, safe area and this hotel exceeded all of our expectations. We would stay here again with zero hesitation! It was a great experience.

We were driving from Florida to Tennessee for vacation and wanted to visit family in Goergia. We tried to stop in Macon as it was getting late and ended up in a very bad neighborhood.

Homewood was recommended by my Mother in Law and, for once, she was right. So we drove on to Atlanta.

We arrived late and were very exhausted, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel was full, so they had to put us in a smoking room. We all suffer from allergies, and none of us had a problem with the smoking room. They were extremely clean, and didn't even smell like smoke.

The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were beautiful and the breakfast was excellent. So we booked the same hotel for the return trip a week later. I will always try to stay in a Homewwood suites from now on.

Did some background checking on this hotel from TripAdvisor.com and booked it as a quick stop on our way down to Florida (from Chicago) with our 2 kids (age 3 & 5). It was difficult to find. Once we were in our room we were thrilled about the size, cleanliness...EVERYTHING. My kids loved it. They loved the pool and we had a blast. I am a very finicky traveler and thought this place was completely worth the money & probably even a little underpriced. The room are like little apartments with kitchens. We ordered pizza delivery from the place in their hotel book and it was good. The breakfast in the morning was above average and the kids made their own waffles. We will totally stay here again.
