Was staying at the hotel on business and looked great on the Internet.
On arrival was greeted by firendly staff and taken to reception. Loved the light, airy lobby and the girls behind the reception desk. It was baking hot and humid and I loved the chilled fresh frut flavoured waters and orange juice that they had for when you came in - all was very promising.
Efficient check in, and lovely lift up to my room.
The rooms were huge and the bed was really comfortable. Great flat screen TV (plasma or LCD - I don't know the difference...) and comfy chair. However what was the awful table? Looked like a school dinner hall table to me!
Bathroom was big with a HUGE shower: but toiletries were all half full. I totally agree with reducing waste etc but do not expect half used shower gel and shampoo.
Air conditioning worked great (boy did I need it!) and I liked the balcony, where I sat first thing in the morning with some fresh water.
Had minibar item on bill for USD3.66 which did not recognise - nothing in the minibar cost that and did not use it, so that was disappointment. Also the water in the room was expensive (USD4 or USD10) and was warm. Yuck!
Great location for Perimeter Mall and there is a free car anywhere within 3 miles - so if you want to nip to Target or Wal-Mart then you can.
Pros - great staff, great lobby, great breakfast
Cons - rooms a disappointment, sharing shower gel (!), restaurant closed on Sundays (I arrived Sunday!)
