“Great Stay, Easy Access”

Hilton Atlanta Airport

I recently stayed for one night at the Hilton Atlanta Airport. Booked it since it was really close to Hartsfield (right next door) and has a free shuttle to the terminal. I got in to Atlanta early and even though it was barely noon, thought I would at swing by to have them store my overnight and then freshen up for a meeting. When I arrived, they said storing the luggage would be no problem, but before the desk clerk took my bag he asked to wait a minute while he checked on something. Turns out, they had a room ready and I could check in rather than leave the bag if I wanted (even better). So, a quick check in of a minute or two and I'm upstairs in the room. The hotel looks very nice from the lobby to the rooms - clean and well appointed. I dropped the bag, washed up, and was off to my meeting. I didn't return until well after 10PM that night.

The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. As I came in that evening, I shared the elevator with someone who turned out to be my neighboor. Never heard him. Never heard anything, actually, and slept like a log in a very nice bed.

Next morning, I was up and getting ready when I looked out the window to see that my room faced the airport and a set of runways that were very much active. One plane was landing and another was taking off the whole time I was sleeping and getting ready that morning and I never heard it. Great! I used the automated check-out and was downstairs for the quick free shuttle to the airport.

In all, an excellent stay, albeit a short one. Everything was clean and nice, the staff were helpful, and the location next to the airport (along with a short hop to downtown Atlanta) makes this a great choice.

“Great short stay!”

Hilton Atlanta Airport

Jan 14, 2008

Flight late into Atlanta, stuck overnight. Hilton had rooms available. Long wait for shuttle at Airport - a real mob scene. Quick check-in, very friendly and helpful front desk and assistance with luggage. Room was large and very nice. Had room service - very tasty food, kitchen modified several items with no problem. Shuttle in am was much easier.

“Decent Hotel in Central location”

Hilton Atlanta Airport

Jan 3, 2008

I stayed at the hotel on a business trip for three nights. The room was just average (the walls were a bit dingy and the carpeting had some stains and needed to be better vaccuumed). Looked like it needed a general update. The hotel staff was nice and the restaurant was superb. I ate about five meals at the hotel both through room service and in the restaurant. Although pricey, it was high quality. The location was central . A collegue had a suite which was very nice and appeared to be newly remodeled with several rooms. The best part about my room was definitely the beds. Extremely comfortable. We paid on average around $200 plus tax directly through the hotel. Weekend rates were cheaper by about $70. There was also a free shuttle to the airport that runs every 15 minutes.

“Unexpected Stay was Just Fine”

Hilton Atlanta Airport

3 of 5 stars
San Francisco, CA
Jan 2, 2008

Just stayed 1 night at the Hilton Atlanta Airport--I missed a connecting flight due to weather and the next one wasn't going out until the next morning. So the airlines put me up here for the night. It's extremely close to the airport with frequent free shuttle service. My room was large and very clean and fancy (I'm not used to staying at the Hilton and usually book at more budget friendly hotels). The hotel is very high class and targets a business-oriented clientele. My complaints were that the staff at check in and check out were not very friendly, not smiling or welcoming me in any way. They seemed unhappy to be there, especially the girl who checked me in. Also there was no free continental breakfast and I wasn't going to pay $14 for breakfast in the restaurant. I probably would never stay here again, but only because it's way out of my price range, it's not close to any attractions in Atlanta, and the staff were not very friendly. But it is clean and well maintained, and that's always very important. Please email me if you have any questions!!!

“Good Business Hotel”

Hilton Atlanta Airport

4 of 5 stars
Little Rock
Dec 17, 2007

Have stayed twice at the Hilton Atlanta Airport for business (Nov and Dec 07). It is a very convenient business traveler hotel.

The rooms are well appointed and the beds are super comfy. I really liked being on the side of the hotel facing the runways to watch the planes take off and land at night. There was no noise whatsoever.

Being able to catch the shuttle to/from the airport is wonderful. The shuttle driver offers cokes/water, which is a nice touch.

The food at the restaurants is no more expensive than one would expect to find in any hotel in a major city. The breakfast buffet offered quite a variety of both hot/cold items. Andiamo, while not exactly fine dining, offers a very serviceable meal in a very pleasant setting.

The service in the hotel, from waitstaff to check in to concierge was all fantastic.

I can't imagine vacationing at this hotel, but for business travel it is perfect.
