“A great way to spend a few hours in HOTlanta!”

A cute & sugar-filled tribute to my favorite brand of cola. A look at Coca Cola memorabilia, followed by a film, then you are opened to the world of Coke! See a bottling plant, coke advertisements over the years, Andy Warhol coca-cola themed art, a 4D movie ride, and the big finale - all the coke you can drink from around the world. There must be 50 varieties you can sample from Africa, Europe, Latin America and of course the good ol' US of A. Even get to take a bottle of coke home with you as a souvenir. Of course they can't get you out of the place without dumping you in a souvenir shop a la Disney World, but we managed to escape without dropping a buck in there. Kids and adults will enjoy this escape.

A fun place. My 10-year-old son and I went twice during the same vacation (yes, he liked it that much).
I really appreciate the fact that the tour guides keep crowds to a controllable number. There were places it was crowded, but not so much so that you couldn't enjoy the sites and sounds.
Interesting stuff all the way through, but the best was the visit to the room where Coke products from all over the world are offered up as part of an all-you-can-drink buffet at the end of the tour. Crowds in this room can be a bit problematic, but if you hang back and wait for them to thin out a bit it's fun to try drinks from all over the world. My son was braver than I, trying most. He even tried the drink called Beverly, which is said to be horrifically awful (he didn't like it either).
The gift shop at the end of the tour is quite pricey; avoid making souvenir purchases here if you're really trying to stay on a vacation budget.

“not worth the price”

We went to the Aquarium and since this is just across the plaza and we do drink Coke we thought we'd see what all the fuss was about. I had read the mixed reviews listed below so I wasn't sure. The admission is $15 for an adult. You just can't drink that much soda in one standing for it to be worth the price. There is a mini version of a bottling facility that explains the process which was interesting. Everything else is just a giant Coke commercial. Even the 4-D movie was a commercial. I like Coke. I even have an old coke t-shirt. However, I could not in good conscience recommend this to anyone who isn't a die-hard Coke addict. Having said all of that to warn you, because they could drink as much soda as they wanted and because much of the stuff sold in other countries is so gross, my tween aged sons thought this was one of the best things in Atlanta. So consider your interests and if you do decide to be sucked in by the hype, go to Atlantix (at Atlanta Underground or the Lenox Mall service desk)and get the tickets for half-price. I didn't know they were available there until after I shelled out almost $70. (They sell them for that day or the next day but do not sell until 11 am.) Just don't say you weren't warned.

“Big Rip-Off”

I would agree with the previous posters that the World of Coke was a disappointment. We have visited the previous location many times and enjoyed it. The 4-D theater is the only upgrade here, and the movie at the other World of Coke was more educational. The most insulting thing was that our family of four paid $70 (including parking) for Coke to brainwash us!

The new WORLD OF COCA COLA is an expensive, brain numbing, and boring 90 minute commerical to COCA COLA. I don't recall visiting any worse attraction anywhere in the world. I will refuse to go back under any conditions. I left not wanting to see or taste a coke Coke product for a long time.
