“Great place to stay”

Stayed there 9-17 for a week-end anniversary getaway. Hosts Don and Rose were great. Breakfast was as good as any restaurant would serve. The trolley car stop was right out front and took us down St. Charles and line ended right at Canal and Bourbon St. Rooms were very nice and private. Will stay there again on our next trip to the "Big Easy".

We recently stayed at the Hubbard Mansion for our 6th wedding anniversary. This was a wonderful bed and breakfast. We stay at a bed and breakfast each year for our anniversary and we were very impressed. Rose and Don were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed sitting and talking to them each morning. We stayed in the Breion suite. It is beautiful. The bed is so comfortable, the room spacious, and the whirpool tub terrific. Rose surprised us with roses, balloons, and champagne for our anniversary. This has never happened at the other bed and breakfast locations unless we paid extra. What can I say... we had a great trip and loved our B&B.

I flew down for a suprise proposal on my now fiance's vacation. The Hubbard Mansion was a beautiful location to celebrate our engagement.

The owner/operators are freindly and made my our stay comfortable. It was my first stay at a B&B, so I don't have a bunch to compare it to. I was concerned with other B&B's in NO based on others reviews on this site. This B&B sounded like the best bet for staying outside of the French Quarter.

The Hubbard Mansion is a great place for parents visiting Tulane University. It is on the trolley line between Tulane and the French Quarter. My fiance has a friend attending Tulane so we used the trolley on St Charles quite often. You can get an unlimited bus pass good for 3 days. The pass paid for itself and then some, and was nice way to see the city. I picked a pass up at a small grocery store on the corner of Jackson and St Charles, I believe. Larger hotels also sell the pass.

St Charles street in the Garden District is quiet enough to get a restful nights sleep after taking in the city's bars/clubs.

I stayed in the Queen Dell room. It has a jetted tub/shower, real nice antique furniture and a safe in each room. I need to write Rose at the Hubbard Mansion and ask her what they use for materesses and sheets. I slept like a baby, and missed it when I went home to my old bed. If I get a chance to go back to NO I will probably try the Victoria room. I had a chance to view that room and it was huge. Some day, some day.

Breakfast were great, and we met interesting people from around the country. The food gave us a good start to the rest of the day.

I have no reservation suggesting the Hubbard Mansion to travelers looking for someplace outside the French Quarter to rest at night.

Thanks to the Hubbard staff for making Jessah and my stay care free.

If your looking for a beautiful and romantic B&B in N.O. then you can't go wrong with the Hubbard Mansion. My husband and I booked our trip late and Rose (our hostess) was kind enough to accomodate us by letting us move from one room to another. I should mention that we were trying to book the first weekend of Mardi Gras which included Valentine's Day!
The two rooms we stayed in were Henry II and the Carriage House. Henry II was huge, beautiful, romantic, comfortable, and clean, clean, clean.
If you've stayed in N.O. before, you know how rare that is. We shared the Carriage House with another couple, which seemed a little awkward, but we were happy to have a nice place to stay. The Carriage House was not as romantic as the rooms in the Main House. However, it was very comfortable and clean. This space could be a great place for couples who are traveling together. A wonderful hot breakfast was served in the dining room every morning, and Don and Rose (the owners) are a delight.
The location of the Hubbard House could not be better. There's a trolley stop just across the steet that will take you to the French Quarter, and if you're here for Mardi Gras, the garden district parade route is just outside the front door. We had a wonderful time at the Hubbard Mansion - on Valentine's Day they even put flowers in our room with a plate of strawberries and a box of Godiva chocolates - we will definitely be back.

“Excellent Service and Beautiful Property”

My husband and I married and honeymooned at the Hubbard Mansion. It was our first trip to the Hubbard, but it will not be our last. The mansion is beautiful, the food excellent, and the service was WONDERFUL!! The Hubbards were the most gracious hosts and made our wedding and honeymoon the most romantic, unforgettable day of our lives. My husband and I travel a great deal and we are very adamant about having a clean room and a pleasant stay. We examined our room the moment we arrived.
Our room was immaculate, as was the bathroom(which had a jazcuzzi tub that was DIVINE)!! I highly recommend staying at Hubbard Mansion.
