“Hotel Is Nice, But Double Beds Are VERY Uncomfortable!”

Courtyard by Marriott Page

The hotel property is very nice and has a great pool. It is decorated in a southwestern motif. There are small balconies and we had a room overlooking the courtyard and pool.

We shared a room for one night with my husband's parents. They do only have double beds instead of queens if you get two beds in your room. Our bed leaned to one side very heavily, so I had to hang on to the edge of the bed to keep from rolling over onto my husband. My husband actually slept part of the night in a chair since the bed was so uncomfortable. The toilet's don't flush well and ours clogged up twice while we were there. They brought a plunger up to our room both times right away. The rooms are large, so I can't understand why they don't have two queen beds in the rooms. You would think a Marriott property would have better amenities. My husband worked out in the fitness center and said the temperature was so hot it felt like a sauna. They had very nice equipment though. No complimentary breakfast, but they do have a restaurant with a buffet on site. We went to Denny's but it was packed since it was Labor Day so we drove up the hill to McDonalds. We ate the night before at the Fiesta Mexicana restaurant. It was very busy and good. The salsa is quite hot so we asked for a mild and mixed them together. It was perfect then. My husband and his father had the shrimp nachos and I had a shredded beef taco salad. Both were very good. I was told the chicken burritos are very good as well. The prices are fairly reasonable, especially for a touristy town. There are not many restaurants to choose from in Page. We will try Strombolli's Italian Restaurant next time. It was packed when we drove by, so it must be pretty good. After checking out, we drove over to the visitor's center at the dam and took some pictures of the lake and dam. It was definitely worth a visit. I would stay at the Marriott as long as we have a king bed.

“Up to Courtyard standards. Extra nice pool area.”

Courtyard by Marriott Page

Hotel has a nice atmosphere. Situated on little golf course. Very nice pool area. Rooms average. Page is not a very attractive town. Just a place to stay when making a quick visit to Lake Powell in our case. Nothing in the area you can walk to, really. There is a McDonald's just down the street which my kids were enthused about. Property lived up to Marriot Courtyard standards but nothing else remarkable to say about it.

    • Liked — Nice atmosphere. Better than average pool area.
    • Disliked — Town of Page very underwhelming but that's not the hotel's fault :)

We stayed here on the 30th July. The staff were not too friendly at check in, in fact the only staff member to talk to us was in the elevator. One staff member later was very nice to give directions around the town. The hotel itself is a little tired and in need of TLC. There is no fridge in the rooms and for a warm climate this makes it difficult for people travelling. The pool looked ok although we did not make use of it.
Would probably try an alternative hotel next time.

“Nice place and good service”

We stayed for 3 nights (2 rooms) and our experience was very good !

An example: I was not 100 % happy with the AC unit as it did not cool the room enough and reporetd this at the front desk. The next day a new unit was placed in my room.

The overall setting is nice and there are also some quiet spots with rocking chairs to read a book etc.. Pool location is excellent and very popular.

Rooms were extremely tidy and very spacious. The only negative is the restaurant : it takes long to get your food and it is pricey, but there are a lot of alternatives in town.

We enjoyed it !!

“checked out early”

Stayed one night August, 2006 mostly on recommendation from tripadvisor. Terrible value. Room small, service poor, no breakfast, no computer for guest use. We compared the price to other hotels in page and realized we were paying lots more for lots less. We switched to the Quality Inn in Page for about $40 less and got so much more.
