We arrived to the hotel around 11 pm on a Saturday night. Thank goodness we arrived so late or we would have probably gone else where. In Florida, a $125 will get you a lot more- for one it will get you an elevator that doesn't eat you. As the doors close- don't try to keep them open, your limbs will be broken. Oh, then comes the lovely non existent A/C- don't stay in the summer- you'll sweat to death. Also, the continental breakfast was so great, we ventured past the homeless and streetwalkers to get some begals & coffee from across the street. PS- don't look under the bed- it's scary!!!

I do not know why this hotel keeps receiving terrible reviews. My boyfriend and I have stayed there one weekend a summer for the past three years, and each year it is a bit more impressive. This past trip, I was very pleased to find that new ownership/ management has led to a friendlier staff, more hospitable rooms, and an overall higher quality hotel. The rooms are very clean (nothing luxurious, but includes everything standard), have electronic entries, and were of a decent size. The hotel is in a safe neighborhood, and you cannot beat the price in Brooklyn! We would recommend staying here.

From the moment I entered the lobby and saw what looked like a drug deal, I wished I had driven elsewhere, but it was too late. I entered
the stairway where a couple was sitting and didnt want to move to let
me pass. the hallways smelled and the room wasnt any better. The floor and bed were covered in cigarette burns, which grossed me out, I stripped it off and slept with a towel. I slept with the lights on since I saw a cockroach, and couldnt not wait until i could get the hell out of that shithole. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, IT IS A DUMP....you would be better off in a shelter, for Gods sale, at least
you would know what was coming at you.

the hallway smelled, the bedroom smelled like smoke, the walls are thin and i could hear everything next door and in the hallway, the vending machine was broken, the room was old, and the continental breakfast was aweful. My most terrible hotel experience ever, not to mention i paid $145 a night for it! Do yourself a favos, take my word and find another place to stay.
