We arrived at the front desk an hour before check-in time, and were greeted warmly by the staff. "Welcome to the Sheraton" Lucky for us, a room was ready.
Thanks to previous reviews, we had made a request for the South Tower-higher floor upon booking, and that's exactly what we received.
From the lobby to the elevator, the surroundings are very pleasant. The nautical black and white photography touches were very nice, and this trend continued in our room.
Our king room was on the small side, however perfect for two (2) adults. A leather headboard in deep tones, dark wood side tables, desk, and dresser.
The wall mounted flat screen was a nice modern touch, and the bedding was a mix of whites and navy to go along with the nautical flair.
A striped wallpaper of white and blue, was a nice backdrop to the white sink, and large white tiled shower in the bathroom. Modern fixtures and shelving in crome was a nice touch. Thick white bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths were plentiful. Not your usual one set per person.
After a day of short walks to the Inner Harbor, water taxi rides to Fells Point for cold beer and dinner, and an evening at Camden Yards, the hotel's location allowed for parking the car upon arrival, and not needing it again throughout our stay. A comfortable bed was a lovely way to end a great day.
