“Bad experience”

Best Inn Baltimore

Stayed in the hotel the night before taking a cruise from the Port of Baltimore. The room was very noisy. People were in and out of the adjoining room all night long. Kids were running the halls all night long and slamming doors. Was the worst experience staying in a hotel I've ever had. Will never stay there again and will not recommend it to anybody. I felt afraid to go out of the room once we were in. It is located in a bad section of town, and had trouble finding it in the first place.

“The Best Inn is the Best Deal in Baltimore”

Best Inn Baltimore

My buddy and I were looking forward to going to Baltimore on a Saturday to see a baseball game at Camden Yards. We got the tickets but realized later it was the Preakness weekend, meaning the hotels in the Inner Harbor were $350 and up.

I'm telling you, for $77 with tax, you can't beat this place. Especially if you're just sleeping in your room. The area is not great by any means, but if you can block out your surroundings, the Best in is the Best Deal around. It is close to the highway, the people were friendly, a chirping smoke detector was fixed immediately, the room was clean, it had a fridge, and the beds were brand new pillowtop mattresses (and comfortable).

I would highly recommend the Best Inn for a bunch of guys who don't need anything fancy, just a decent place to crash. Seems like anything goes there too, which is what this country is all about.

“Not bad at all”

After researching for days and nearly fainting at the prices of hotels in the Harbor area we decided to stay at the Best Inn on February 19, 2005. We weren't expecting much, we just wanted a clean, reasonably priced hotel to sleep in after a long day at the Harbor. That's exactly what we got. This hotel is NOT fancy, the continental breakfast is...well, not... but our room was clean, it smelled very fresh, had a small fridge, and it was quiet up on the 5th floor. I think this hotel is a lot nicer than the ones down at the harbor (from what I've read about some of them anyway!) and it wasn't hard to find our way to the downtown area. I'm sure we'll stay here again.

“Clean & Accomodating”

This small property has become our lodging of choice in greater Baltimore after staying at a few of the upscale downtown hotels. We've always been treated graciously by the entire staff. We've returned here six times by most recent count. The rooms are spacious and CLEAN. Coffee makers, hair dryers and irons join the newly added mini-refrigerators(not stocked, only a convenience)as amenities in each room. The price can't be beat for a family on vacation. Ask at the desk for directions to Brookey's, a small farm kitchen restaurant with a great dinner menu and terrific bar service

“Surprising for the money”

On a recent emergency trip to Baltimore, we decided to hazard the Best Inn. The location itself seems most unpromising- although very close to I-95, 895, etc, upon driving up to it, it looks rather in the middle of somewhere less than divine. However, the inn was very clean, the rooms ditto and quite large. Our view from the fourth floor was dismal, but then again, the price was rock bottom. A tip- unless you have an utterly indifferent palate, don't bother with the free continental breakfast. Orangedrink instead of juice, reconstituted milk, doughy bagels and Shylockian portions of butter- I didn't even bother looking at the cereal. All in all, though, I'd stay there again because the price was terrific and the staff was lovely and accomodating. One did get a lot of bang for ones buck, and in today's market, that's something.
