“Very classy hotel”

InterContinental Harbor Court Baltimore

Our experience at this hotel was lovely. We had a very spacious Corner Suite with a beautiful veiw. We travel frequently and found that we really got our money' s worth. At $800/night we got a very large 1100 square foot room with 2 bathrooms, one with jacuzzi tub, 2 large bay windows overlooking the harbour, large bedroom, with french doors opening to a living room and dining area. The room was very clean, service was outstanding. We had cocktails in the Explorer lounge one evening.(very nice)
Not one complaint. We will definatley be back. Also it is a quick cab ride to Johns Hopkins Hospital.

“Nice location -- Short of expectation”

The location of the IC Harbor Court is great! Within walking distance to the Inner Harbor, Baltimore Aquarium, The Power Co, and Camden Yards.

My husband, 12 year-old son, and I booked a two night stay for a weekend vacation to see the Aquarium. I booked a package deal that included valet parking, breakfast for 2 (up to $20/pp), and 2 tickets for the aquarium. I was told that additional tickets could be purchased at the front desk upon arrival.

Check-in was quick and pleasant. Our room was upgraded to a harbor view as a member of the Priority Club. The room was very nice: great view, clean bathroom, all plumbing and electronics working, well-kept furnishings, clean carpet, and fresh smelling.

We ordered room service for breakfast the first morning. Almost everything was delivered as ordered. We ordered a glass of milk instead of juice. The milk was brought in a small cream pitcher. I called room-service. They misunderstood that this was milk for the coffee instead of a beverage. A large glass of milk was brought within 5 minutes of the call.

I went to the front desk to purchase the additional aquarium ticket as I was told to do. I was informed that they had no more tickets. Too bad. Oh wait, they might have a child's ticket somewhere in the back. Fortunately, my son met the age requirement and they were able to find the additional ticket.

Maid service knocked and entered the room as we were still preparing to leave for our outing. I told her we would be ready to leave in 15 minutes and could she come back then. Upon return from our days outing, around 8 p.m., the room was not made up and the breakfast tray with all the dirty dishes were still in the room. I called the front desk to request maid service. They said that I had refused service earlier in the day so my room was not made up. They asked if I wanted a full cleaning or just some fresh towels. I opted for the fresh towels. I was told I would have to call room service myself to arrange the for removal of the breakfast tray. Neither maid service nor room service showed up after an hour. Eventually, the turn down service knocked and was able to get us fresh towels and convinced room service to come for our breakfast trolley.

The hotel has a very nice indoor pool which we all enjoyed. Pool towels are provided as were various floatation devices for the kids (noodles and kick boards). There are other gym ammenities but we did no use them.

We did not eat in the restaurants or the small coffee shop in the lobby.

Upon leaving, our bill was overstated for a few items that they readily took off. It's just annoying that they were there in the first place. One expects that from lower establishments, but not from an upper star hotel.

The valet service to retrieve our luggage and car was quick and courteous.

A nice hotel but too many things were "off" for the price.

“Interesting night...”

Well, I was initially looking for a hotel to stay in since my friends and I would be out drinking all night, and driving back to NJ was not an option. We looked on line and I got hte room for $115 on Priceline, it was cheaper then staying at a Days Inn (gross).
But normally the rates were $250 or higher a night. So getting there, I didnt think I would pay almost $20 to park overnight when valet was $21. The front desk guy was awesome, I accidently left my camera and he called my room and let me know.
The TV in the bathroom didnt work, and the room didn't exactly look like the pictures on line. But still nice ,but not worth $250 a night.
So we get in late that night and find our room. My bathroom was occupied by my friend so I went to look for one, a bell hop advised me that there was one on the 2nd floor and he took me there and back to my room, but then tried to hug me and I think he would have kissed me if I didnt turn away. Kind of freaked me out. but I got back to my room and then went to bed. Nice place if you like to make out w/ the help!
Oh and the next morning I set my hair dryer down on the sink and the TV came on by itself. The FUJI water in the room was priced at $5...

“Nice stay”

I stayed here for 2 nights in February since I had a conference in the hotel. I had a conference rate of $249 + tax/night. I saw the rack rates and the place is very pricey.

The hotel is a short $9 cab ride from Penn Station. The hotel is very lovely and the staff was friendly. I had a room on the 5th floor that overlooked the courtyard and other rooms - quite disappointing. But the room was huge, probably bigger than my apartment. I had 2 beds instead of a king, but that's ok. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very good size and had a nice flat-screen TV in it. Robes were provided, but they weren't very comfortable - for the amount the room costs - they could have gotten a softer material. A hairdryer is also provided, but is very disappointing. Bring your own. it was a cheap model that only worked on low so it took 30 minutes to dry my shoulder length hair. Again, for the price paid - they could have upgraded the quality at minimum cost.

My first night - I arrived late and had room service for dinner. it was good, but as all room service is - pricey. I also ate the meals during the conference and lunch was excellent. They had a wonderful variety of fresh veggies.

The location is fantastic. The hotel is right across the street from the Inner Harbor and the USS Constellation. We got lucky on Wednesday with a 60 degree day so were ableto walk around the harbor before dinner. I am sure int he summertime that this location can't be beat!

Overall, I would stay there again if I got a great rate. I don't think any hotel is worth the rack rates.

This hotel has lumpy, soft, old mattresses, so despite the hotel's good location, it is a poor choice of place to stay.
I couldn't sleep.
