We stayed at the Wyndham for four nights in June 2007. My wife travels in her job and I do technical writing and research on a part time basis. I'm normally in the room most of the day working on the computer.
The staff at the Wyndham are nice and the property is attractive with a nice location (from a scenic standpoint, maybe not from having easy access to downtown).
There is free wireless internet but it is relatively slow. There is no hardwired internet access and this might be a factor with secured laptops (my wife's employer does not allow any business information to be sent or received wirelessly).
This is an aging facility. Our room was dimly lit and only had three wall outlets, most of which were used by the four lamps, television, and the cordless phone. We have two computers and three cell phones. It was a hassle trying to keep all our gadgets going. The bathroom looks old and has mold growing in the grout.
Although the Wyndham is ok, I will probably try to find someplace a little newer and nicer on our next trip to Jacksonville.
