As a Wyndham member, I was totally appalled by the condition and most of the services provided by this hotel. I attended a business mtg. and most of the eval’s of the attendants remarked on the poor hotel conditions. They are:
1.lost business material packages that were shipped to the hotel
2.room service orders that were incorrect, incomplete and late by over an hour
3.poor restaurant service and inferior quality food, including menu items unavailable
4.very dirty rooms, stained, ripped carpeting
5.molding, fell off and left in the middle of the halls
6. rooms had odors, many attendees of this mtg. complained about waking with headaches

Given that, several staff were helpful. Unfortunately, this does not make up for the larger significant issues.

We had our corporate award meeting in Jacksonville, Fl. I was really looking forward to this meeting. We got to the hotel and our room wasnot ready, the food was terrible, the banquet food was even worse, the steak was uncooked not even pink it was red, I am glad salmon was pink and ok, salmon has its own taste so it is good even if you don't season it. the plate was not pesentable, the rice was all over the plate.

This is an old building so I think that's why it took me at least 20 minutes to get some hot water, I flushed the toilet and it was about to overflow, to get rid of it it took me at least 3 flushes.

the only good thing was my bed, it was very confortable or it could have been that I was so tired so it didn't really matter where I was going to crash.

Overall it was an OK experience. Since this was booked by my company they paid a corporate rate.

I would not recommend this hotel for a stay in Jacksonville, Florida.

A month ago i was on a buisness trip to Jacksonville where i put on a seminar at the Wyndham Riverwalk. The facilities were perfect for my presentations with a number of different venues. The food and service was exceptional with all of the attendies enjoying themselves immensly. My wife and family also came along and enjoyed the surrounding areas where the view of the harbour was spectacular. We enjoyed great shopping and went to the Lion King musical which was very close to the hotel. Golf was on our ajenda and finding golf courses was easy. We played twice while we were there. Our stay in Jacksonville at the Wyndham hotel was very satisfing and we will probably be back.
