Excellent service, excellent location, excellent everything.

How does every Omni (including this one) execute on every detail without making you feel like you're smothered in kindness? I don't really care, just keep doing it.

I stayed here during a conference and loved how warm and personal the hotel feels. Very much like heading "home" instead of to a certain mega-hotel on Market which is basically an extension of the downtown circus. After a short 10 minute walk from the conference center, walking into the Omni took my stress level down instantly.

Lives up to the Omni standard in every single way.

We had reservations at the Courtyard for our planned stay of 6/13-
6/16/08. Then read review on this site regarding the location of the hotel. Began to have doubts. Went to this site and researched Omni prices as I had stayed at this hotel before and had a good experience. Well, got a good price on Expedia and cancelled at the Courtyard. The Omni was a wonderful experience, the staff, the concierge, the room all were great. If we go back to Philly this is the place I want to stay. Passed the Courtyard on the way to Reading Terminal - was very happy we changed hotels. The location of the Courtyard really puts a damper on nighttime strolls - as well as daytime strolls. Thanks to this site, we really enjoyed our trip. Thanks Trip Advisor!

Excellent choice for a hotel stay in Philadelphia, particularly if you are there to see the historical area downtown. For that, this hotel has the best location of any hotel, approximately 200 yards from Independence Hall. The staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful- as well-prepared, organized and just plain nice as any we have ever experienced in 35 years of traveling. Outstanding concierge- went out of her way to greet us on arrival and make sure everything went smoothly throughout our stay. The room was large, the carpet, furniture in like-new condition, comfortable bed with nice linens, nice large bathroom, nice robes, free turn-down service. Although not inexpensive, this hotel had a much more reasonable nightly rate than the other 4-star hotels in downtown Philadelphia. I can guarantee you will not receive better service or a nicer room at this price level. Highly recommended.

Hotel put us on second floor street side. In addition to the street noise, there was no soundproofing in the hotel. We could hear every word the couple in the adjacent room was saying and unfortunately we were awoken by that in the middle of the night both nights we were there. In addition, on the second night the couple apparantly came back to their room about midnight and turned on the TV (hotel music) and then left and didn't return until 3 PM. Despite our complaining the hotel security did nothing. They finally did act on some violinist playing outside at 2 AM. Very expensive and a bad experience overall.
