“Good hotel, beware of breakfast!”

Stayed at this hotel from Apr 26th-Apr 30th. Hotel rooms are good, beds are comfy, and housekeeping does a great job. The bathroom is a bit dated. The breakfast is a real disaster, actually we decided to book this hotel based on TA reviews and the "free" breakfast (not really free when the room rate is 300$ +) which is not a good reason to choose this hotel. No fresh items at all, and breakfast room is far too small compared to the number of guests. There is a warning outside that breakfast can get crazy after 8:50, which is an absolute understatement! Other negative point (albeit small) is that there is no possibility to print boarding passes. Positive point is the location, 5 min walk from Times Square, and 5 min to Columbus Circle, where you'll find Central Park and the Time Warner building with lots of shops.
I would advise you to stay here, but have breakfast elsewhere, i.e. at Ellens Stardust diner only one block away, with singing waiting staff!

“Great hotel, excellent location”

The hotel's location is excellent - on 8th ave,. mins of walking to Times Square, some Broadway theaters , Central Park, Radio City and Rockfeller Center. The metro is also a block away.
The hotel is nicely decorated, modern, rooms are big (which is not always the case in NYC hotel) and clean. There is free internet access (not wireless)
The staff are very nice and professional.
A hot breakfast served that is part of the deal which is also nice.

There are 2 things that bothered during the stay are:
1. there are only 2 elevators and it looks that for this size of hotel it's not enough. Always found myself waiting for it for quite a while, sometimes even taking the stairs instead(from/to 7th floor)
2. Same problem with breakfast room - on any time between 7:30 and 9:30, it's always very crowded and the area with the food itself is quite small compared to the number of people trying to use it.
In overall, very good experience and I would stay in this hotel again.

“Excellent in every way!”

This hotel has a wonderful location. Parking is immediately adjacent. Rooms are incredibly spacious for NYC, and the staff was so friendly that I could not believe I was in New York City! :-) Everything works in the room, and everything was new or almost. We had a wonderful time and consider this the finest overall hotel we have stayed in in NYC (and that list includes the Waldorf Astoria).

“GREAT location but....”

Great place to stay and I probably would again, however, when I got home, all my clothes smelled like cigarette smoke!! YUCK!! I thought this was a smoke-free hotel. Would I stay here again? Absolutely!! This couldn't be anymore centrally located to where we wanted to be. Concierge service-late check-out-even kept our bags while we shopped for the remainder of our day. Great breakfast!! Just have a hard time dealing with the smell of cigs.

“Wonderful location and great service”

Stayed here during April break with my 13 year old daughter for two nights.

Picked this hotel because of its location. It's in the heart of the theater district and we could walk to every place we wanted to see.

The included breakfast saved us some money even though it wasn't the most exciting meal we've ever had. All the restaurants in the area made up for it though.

Our room had two queen sized beds and was clean and comfortable. The bathroom looked a little ragged around the edges, but was also very clean.

The hotel was filled with children (also on school break) but our room was surprising quiet. Didn't hear the traffic outside or the kids in the hallways.

The service at the front desk was very pleasant as was the ability to check out bags in early. We arrived at the hotel during the latter part of the morning and were thrilled to be able to leave our luggage behind as we went wandering around.

Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
